Smarter spend management
at Allianz Global Investors

Allianz Global Investors has started a purchasing transformation program in which we will digitalise our processes and systems in all our regions. We will improve our supplier relationship by having a fully digitised, modern end-to-end buying experience. This allows us to optimise our value – together.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to start or even evolve our relationship using the SAP Ariba Network. In the future the exchange of orders and order confirmations will take place on the Ariba Network only. Collaborating with us outside the Ariba Network will be eliminated in due course.

The Ariba Network is market leader in cloud-based procurement solutions. It enables the entire procurement and accounting process from start to finish through sourcing, purchasing, invoice automation and payment reconciliation all in one tool.

Your benefits

As our supplier, you will be required to register on the Ariba Network. Registration in the Ariba Network offers several benefits for your business – not only with Allianz Global Investors:

  • Fewer invoicing errors
  • Lower carbon footprint
  • Easy access to the online platform

How supplier enablement works

Transacting electronically on the Ariba Network is a standard part of doing business and an expectation of all suppliers of Allianz Global Investors moving forward. With supplier enablement we offer a migration process that invited suppliers go through to transition to the Ariba Network. We also support new suppliers in the direct onboarding.

What are the steps within supplier enablement?

Step 1: Allianz Global Investors or Ariba are contacting you in phases during the rollout.

Step 2: We will send you a Project Notification Letter (PNL) when it is time to convert to the new process. This letter will explain how to register on the Ariba Network and the steps to take to create your account (see as well Account options).

Please note: If you are using the functionality of the Ariba Network already, please provide us with your existing unique ANID and email address to ensure all account settings will be configured properly.

Step 3: Soon after, you will receive an invitation from Ariba.
If you choose an enterprise account, you will receive a Trading Relationship Request (TRR). Click 'Accept your customer's Trading Relationship Request' to begin the onboarding process.
If you have selected a standard account, you will receive an interactive email from us, and you can sign up for a standard account.
