Allianz has closed the acquisition of its first renewable energy installations in Poland from ENERTRAG, consisting of nine sites split into two projects, Dargikowo and Karlino. With these additions, Allianz now owns more than 100 wind and solar parks. Construction works for Dargikowo and Karlino have already started. The commissioning of the projects is planned for 2021 and 2022, respectively.
According to a Grassroots® survey from Allianz Global Investors, one of the world’s leading active investment managers, roughly 75% of the 550 IT decision-makers surveyed globally, are expecting their budgets to increase in 2020 compared to the previous year.
Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI), a leading active asset manager, has grown the volume of sustainable investments it manages over the last three years from around EUR 25bn to EUR 165 billion by the end of 2019.
Allianz Global Investors’ Infrastructure Debt platform deployed EUR 4 billion in new investments in 2019. The team made new investments in 21 projects and corporates across core and core+ infrastructure in Europe, the United States and Latin America.
Participating in 9,532 (2018: 8,535) shareholder meetings over the course of 2019, AllianzGI voted against, withheld or abstained from at least one agenda item at 77% (2018: 75%) of all meetings globally. It opposed 24% (2018: 24%) of all resolutions globally.
